Our Mission

Thrive Together Jefferson County helps in restoring hope to low-wealth single parent and their families living in Birmingham, Alabama by offering long-term sustainable solutions to challenges families face in the areas of education, finance, safe and affordable housing, career training, and nutrition.

Our Impact

Through our client-choice food market, we have helped over 10,000 people during times of food shortages in their homes. We have helped with over a quarter of a million dollars in utility assistance to those that have just lost a job, a loved one, or are in the middle of some other life-changing event. We have had over 85 graduates from our two job training programs and have sent thousands of meals home to children with food insecurities through our partnerships with local schools.
